Healing Journey Through the Chakras

I have found the chakras and shamanic journeying and healing techniques work well together for healing. This class combines the insights from Anondea Judith’s Eastern Body Western Mind with shamanic journeying to create a personal healing experience.

Structure of the class:
Participants will join the Google Group, The Healing Path Community. Lessons will be presented each week on Sunday through this group. Assignments and reflections will be posted daily and will include journeys, meditations, reflections, ceremonies, and creative elements. Don’t worry – you don’t have to do everything. I will provide multiple avenues to experience the lesson and you decide which ones you would like to complete. Students will be able to post insights, questions and participate in conversations via email and discussion board.

Privacy:
If you choose, your participation can be private. I will email you the class lessons and assignments directly and we can exchange emails as you work through the class lessons and assignments.

Class fee, registration and payment info:
In shamanism, healing is a partnership and includes an energetic exchange. The fee of $15 per class will be the exchange for this series. Register by clicking the PayPal button below. Your $30 registration fee covers the first two weeks of classes. After that you can pay weekly for each class or f you would prefer to pay for all classes in advance you may do so at a discounted rate of $80 for the series.

Class Topics and Details:

Week #1 - Shamanic Healing and the Chakras
In this session, you will learn how to use the shamanic journey for personal healing. You will meet a spirit guide and/or teacher that will help you on your healing journey. You will also connect with your Highest Self (Atman) and learn how this connection benefits your healing process. Learn how shamanic practitioners view healing and how ceremonies and healing techniques are used in shamanic practice.

Week #2 - Tribal and Earth Connections
In this session you will journey to your birth experience and the earliest years of your life. You will address issues of fear, survival and abandonment for the sake of clearing any blockages that might be holding you back. You will experience the nurturing, supportive, loving energy of Mother Earth and the divine feminine, and learn how your connection to the earth can help you heal.

Week #3 - The Emotional Body
In this session you will journey to assess the wounding of your emotional body, as it is connected to the second chakra. Explore the concepts of creation and flow. Learn to work with the water element for healing and to manifest your dreams. Commune with the Muses to create the life you want.

Week #4 - Power and Purpose
In this session you will discover the seat of your power - your solar plexus. Explore the concepts of identity, autonomy and individuation and how they impact your ability to stand in your power, and to be decisive and compassionate. Learn to work with the fire element for healing, and to move you closer to your life’s purpose. Take a journey to Madame Pele, the Hawai’ian Volcano Goddess, for healing.

Week #5 - The Yin and Yang of Life
Judith writes, “To heal the heart is to reunite mind and body, the mystical and mundane, self and other into an integrated whole.” In this session we will explore the areas of our lives in need of balance. Specifically, we will explore our own masculinity and femininity for the sake of healing and wholeness. We will journey to heal relationships with the matriarchs and patriarchs in our own lives.

Week #6 - The Etheric Body
In this session we explore our own voice and communication - including symbolic communication - and healing through sound. With the fifth chakra, we enter the realm of the etheric body. We will journey to attune our energetic bodies, and to seek and define our truth. We will explore the areas in our lives in which we need to speak our truths more clearly, and journey to receive healing information on how to do that.

Week #7 - Archetypes and Illusions
It is with the sixth chakra that we learn to see with our spiritual eyes, with what Caroline Myss calls “symbolic sight.” In this session we explore perceptions, illusions and visions. Learn to see and work with the archetypal energies that are at work in your life. Journey to return yourself from illusions and thought-forms that are depleting your energy and keeping you from realizing your potential.

Class #8 - Awakening to Divine Consciousness
The seventh chakra allows us the opportunity to open to divine consciousness, to step through the door and to accept our connection with all of creation. In this session we will explore the process of becoming conscious, how attachments can sever our connection with our highest self, and how our belief systems shape our reality. The journeys in this session will reveal the areas in life that keep us from living in alignment with our own divinity, and how to heal those blocks. We will also discuss the concept of transcendence and the 8th chakra.
