Today many contemporary shamanic practitioners and teachers help people around the world achieve healing through wholeness. In the shamanic world, it is believed that all illness and dis-ease begins in the spiritual realm and that healing is needed on all levels - mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. These practitioners use the shamanic journey to access healing information. This process includes entering a light trance while listening to a steady drum beat and accessing spiritual information in what anthropologist Michael Harner calls “non-ordinary reality.”

Learn to Journey:

The Introduction to Shamanic Journeying class will teach you how to safely and effectively journey in non-ordinary realty to receive healing information for yourself.

New Opportunities:

Attending this class will allow you to participate in a monthly shamanic journey circle held in Denton. Once you have journey experience you can participate in advanced classes.

Experienced Journeyers are welcome to attend the class as well. This is a good way to build community and gain some extra journey practice.

About the facilitator:

Lynn Wolf, a member of the Spirit Moon Community, is a wellness educator. She is trained in Usui Reiki, Core Shamanism, Aromatherapy and Herbal Healing. Lynn has studied with shamanic teachers Kristin Madden (New Mexico - www.kristinmadden.com) and Lyn Birmingham (Dallas - www.spiritmoon.net) and has completed the Foundation for Shamanic Studies “The Way of the Shaman” class with Sandra Ingerman (www.shamanism.org and www. sandraingerman.com). She has studied with healing practitioners and teachers Connie Henry ND, CPH, RN, and Digby Henry in New Mexico (www.bodymindspiritplace.com) and Reiki Master Jennifer Walz, L.Ac. (Dallas, TX). Lynn is passionate about helping others explore their options for healing body, mind, heart and spirit.
